Our Rating:
When I got this EP I thought it was by Liver Tan due to how the press release was folded. Shame I was wrong as it would have been a better band name than Oliver Tank.

This EP feels more like an endurance test than an EP the 22 minutes felt like an hour. It is all woozy keyboards and treated vocals that make me think Mr Tank can't really sing as he asks if he can teach us how to dance. I think we need to teach him how to sing without autotune or whatever software his vocal is filtered through.

Embrace is all plinky plonky Japan style ambient chill out love song that blands into the distance, but not as much as Last Night I Heard everything in Slow Motion. I think they swallowed 20 Valiums and tried to play music. It is sooo painfully slow and dull that when they start to sing "Whisper in my ear three words I want to hear" the only three words that came to me were Turn It Off! And surely that's not the right reaction.

As the CD slowly ground on with the slowest and mellowest track suddenly there were vocals going on about "what's all the commotion?" Well there isn't any to do with this music other than me pleading for it to end so that I can be taken out of the torpor this EP induced in me.
