Our Rating:
My review copy of this EP comes with precious little information and the track listings on the cover are handwritten. While they sent two copies they disagree on one of the song titles which is a bit odd.

Still opening tune Explosions is an instrumental number that reminds me of Atlases or Amusement Parks on Fire type of building noise monster that somehow manages to sound like it would soundtrack some catacysmic climax in an action film. Older Motion Pictures itself is a slow builder that has some slightly whiney vocals over the strings that build the song to a climax that seems a touch lacking in something.

Torren is the sort of wimpy whiney love song that is just too soft for it's own good and no matter how much he warns Torren off I never really got to care about the song. Indeed, no matter how many times I've now heard this EP none of the songs stick in my head. The closing track that is either called From Time to Time or Time After Time is more upbeat indie but somehow sounds like something is missing from it. Or that it was a demo that was meant to be worked on later and they forgot about it? And it's probably called from time to time.

I will be guessing at who releases this as I'm not sure what it says at the bottom. For this band to get anywhere they would have to be stunning live or get a lucky break as otherwise this is far too easily forgettable generic indie.
