A laid-back funk vibe sashays over a groove that’s broadly ‘world’ but it would perhaps be more accurate to describe it as a multicultural melting-pot, and the bilingual lyrics actually work really well in context.
The chorus is intended as a neat dig at guests who’ve overstayed their welcome, but the lines ‘Yeah they talk a lot / And that’s all you’ve got / Thinking you know best / Give our ears a rest’ could be readily applied to a range of contexts.
It’s also pretty damn catchy.
