Our Rating:
When I saw the artwork for this album I got a bit excited as it looks great. There's a pirate whose head is a skull with scabbards and candles and with this in mind, I was sure that I was in for some Pirate Metal what with the pirate ship on the back cover in a wreath of roses. Cool. I was certain for something on the lines of say Alestorm.

The running order goes in a circle round a treasure chest of doubloons and everything was looking good until that awful moment when I pressed play on the CD and everything went wrong. What came out of the speakers is the worst kind of generic as all hell shmindie landfill pseudo metal that is so bland and nondescript as to have been totally forgotten less than ten minutes after hearing.

Nothing on this album sticks with me and it sounds like it was recorded by a computer programme set to chart indie. The fact they liken themselves to "heavyweight kings Blink 182" is signal enough that this lot are to be avoided like the plague. Actually, this is one of those where you should steal the sleeve and leave the record in the shop if you should actually find a copy of it. If you want mine just ask!!

This is one of the most offensively bland albums I've heard in a very long time. All of the marks this album gets are for the artwork. On this, Matt Diecast has done a fantastic job.
