The overall tone of this 6-tracker is breezy, an acoustic jangle with dreamy, reverby vocals in soft focus.
There’s a brief bleepy interlude at the end of the instrumental strum that is ‘winK’ which breaks the succession of pleasant but rather similar songs. Still, what the material may lack in variety is compensated in succinctness. The brevity of the songs (with the exception of ‘sicK sicK’, they’re all around the two to two-and-a-half minute mark) and compress a lot of introspective atmosphere into those small spaces. You certainly couldn’t accuse them of outstaying their welcome.
